Nooch Nutrition

Practice site for a Newcastle dietitian specialising in plant-based nutrition

View live →

Built for Meghan Quinlan, an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) in Newcastle, NSW, with a Master of Dietetics from Monash University.

Meg works across a few areas: vegan and plant-based nutrition at all life stages, neurodivergent clients who find food and sensory issues hard, and medical nutrition therapy for conditions like diabetes, IBD, kidney disease, and cancer. The site needed to read as clinically credible without feeling cold.

The brief was a friendly, clear practice site that made booking easy. Main requirements:

The old site ran on Squarespace. The rebuild is a static Next.js site on Vercel, which took running costs from about $450 a year to under $75, most of that the domain. Meg edits her own page copy through Keystatic, a git-backed CMS, so changes are versioned and there's no database to look after. The blog runs on Sanity, kept behind a flag until there's enough to publish.

The contact form uses a server-side check with Cloudflare Turnstile and a honeypot, and sends through Resend. Bookings stay in Halaxy, embedded rather than rebuilt, because that's where Meg's clinical records already live. Old Squarespace URLs redirect to their new pages so existing search results and links still work.

It went live at noochnutrition.au in October 2026: a warm, easy-to-read site that makes booking a first appointment straightforward, and that costs a fraction of what it used to.
