MicroNooch is a mobile app for iOS and Android that tracks the eight micronutrients that actually matter on a vegan diet: B12, Iron, Zinc, Calcium, Vitamin D, Omega-3 DHA/EPA, Iodine, and Selenium.
Built in collaboration with Meghan Quinlan (Accredited Practising Dietitian, Nooch Nutrition), the premise is focus over completeness: most nutrition apps bury vegans in calorie data when the real risks are a handful of specific micronutrient gaps. MicroNooch cuts straight to those.
The database covers 535 plant-based foods with micronutrient profiles sourced from USDA and official nutrition databases. Supplement logging is included. The app is fully offline: no account, no cloud sync, no data leaving the device.
Currently in development with an early access waitlist live at the landing page. The target is a free initial release on both platforms.
